Hunky Doctors, Sensual Nurses

And I thought J.K. Rowling's Harry Potter series sold like hotcakes! And then I read that 200 million Mills & Boon are sold worldwide each year. Was I surprised? Hell, yeah! But I was even more shocked to learn that one out of the twelve Mills & Boon's novel series is dedicated to the medical profession and is aptly called medical romance.

Yes, medical romance-- the great love between doctors and nurses. And the good thing is, medical romance novels have the perfect ingredients : hunky doctors, sensual nurses, unpredictable settings charged with electricity, and happy endings amidst life-threatening medical emergencies! Bring it on, baby!

The titles, of course, are as compelling as the plots. How can you refuse titles such as The Doctor's Latin Lover, The Doctor's Longed-For Family, The Sicilian Doctor's Proposal, The Doctor's Bride By Sunrise...Hoo-hah!

So what then is the key to a long-lasting medical romance? The secret to a long-lasting medical romance is simple, critics say. The ruggedly handsome doctor should remain unfathomable, infallible, arrogant and all-knowing and the nurse sensual, provocative, nurturing, and able to anticipate his needs at all times. ;)

Boy, I'm glad my boyfriend's not a doctor!Hehe.

I wonder if the story is like "grey's Anatomy" that would really be interesting hehehe.

I hope they make a movie out of this book hahaha!

But the author literally understood one nursing code: Alway anticipate the needs of the patient and doctor. But is the doctor really included? Don't know. :)

What about the female doctors? And the male nurses?

that would make an interesting lead for a plot. but i seriously doubt if doctors would like the idea of a female doctor succumbing to the charms of a male nurse...lol
