And just when I thought I won't find enough reason to use the TV set in my room again, Lyle reminded me that Pinoy Fear Factor's pilot episode was aired yesterday, November 10, 2008.
Shucks, I thought. I wanted to watch Pinoy Fear Factor in its entirety, the primer and the pilot episode included, as I know Ryan Agoncillo will be hosting this reality TV show. Ryan Agoncillo, in my opinion, is a class act as a host as he delivers his lines with enviable spontaneity. But unfortunately, I got so precoccupied with blogging the past few days that I forgot about Pinoy Fear Factor entirely.
And so tonight was my first time to watch Pinoy Fear Factor. I am familiar with 2 out of the 12 participantes: Phoemela Barranda and LJ Moreno. The rest, well, I still have to find out more about them in the future episodes. Sure, basing on what has been written about them, they all have their own personal stories to tell but if I will be watching Pinoy Fear Factor for the thrill of it, I shouldn't be concerned about the sappy stuff.
For tonight's challenge, the 12 participantes of Pinoy Fear Factor were brought to Puerto de Olivos in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The participantes were tasked to pick up yellow flags as they crossed a rotating barrel suspended 5 meters above a river. The participantes did not fare too well in the stunt and it was model/television host Phoemela Barranda who picked up the most number of flags. How many? Two, if I'm not mistaken.
My take on tonight's episode:
How the scantily-clad participantes of Pinoy Fear Factor fared in the rotating barrel challenge was disappointing but tonight's episode was fun with all the heckling.

Nothing exciting really happened. But each so-called 'participantes' road to the reality show was interesting.
Idk what I should feel watching the contestants transferring the 'talangkas' and 'cow's eye' to the other basket; it's like so gross, haha.
I dont know why but I still watch it, and actually, totally hooked with it, haha.
I wasn't so grossed out with the Ojos De Vaca En Congrejos challenge. But it was thrilling to watch the crablets claw at the participantes faces...hehe...

Honestly, I try to immerse myself in it when I watch it. It is an interesting topic to blog about (for me, that is). I also get to practice my writing skills which is a major plus.
Nakakatuwa din silang panoorin. Lalo na pag mahirap and out-of this-world ang challenges. Couldn't wait for more...
